Jinshanling Great Wall

Beijing Jinshanling Great Wall and Badaling Great Wall both are very popular viewpoints of Beijing tour; tourists of Beijing tour cannot miss the two attraction of China Great Wall. Beijing Badaling Great Wall is located in Yanqing County, while the Jinshanling Great Wall is located in Beijing Miyuan County and is very close to Hebei Province, it is also regarded as a viewpoint of Hebei Province. Jinshanling Great Wall, located in Luanping County, Hebei Province, located in the Beijing, Tianjin, Liaoning, and Mongolia provinces intersection. It was built in the Ming Dynasty Hongwu period (1368). Two hundred years later, Chief General Chi Chiguang presided over re-construction as a thistle town officer in the period (1567-1582).

Jinshanling Great Wall, difficult terrain, wide vision, fortification rigorous, magnificent architecture, is the essence of the Great Wall of China location. In January 1988, published by the State Council for the third national cultural heritage, in 1991 was selected as one of national tourist attractions, state-level scenic spot. About 20 km long in the Jinshanling Great Wall, with the size of pass five, two beacon towers, but also the 67 of the watch tower with different forms, a square building, floor, round, flat floor, corner building; there are flat-topped, boat top style, the dome, the top corners of drilling days and octagonal caisson. Watch tower are two layers: the lower vertical and horizontal six archways, can accommodate 60 to 70 people; the top there is a sentry for the soldiers, shelter, a small room, one building was clever. Also there are retaining horse’s walls, barrier walls, shooting holes, cast place, lookout hole and facilities available, reasonable layout. There are also strange landscape: mountains Joan Tower “Beijing watchtower building” thrilling spectacle “thin ridge donkey,” towering “landing ladder” amazing world “word wall”, Hot Springs, Tianquan, turtle rock, sky-hole, the size of Jinshan and other wonders of the different views.

After the Jinshanling Great Wall tour, tourists can have a rest in Miyun Red Wine Village Hotel. The hotel with good facilities is located in Yangshan Village of Mujiayu Town; there are about rooms about 248 and opened in 2003.
